Webには数多の技術が存在し、今なお発展し増えつづけている。だが、人々は現在の技術的を、そこにある制約を当然のものと考え、変えようとする動きがあることなど気がつきもしない。……

途中からあまりWeb自体とはあまり関係なくなっていっている気もするが面白い。 それにつれて段々趣味の話になっていくのも面白い……かもしれん。
ちなみに RHG読書会::東京 Reloaded経由。
上のペーパーから。python 風に書く XML。
ひたすら進まない。無意味に自分を追いつめてみるも、気ばかり焦るだけで無駄だ。逃避的に18時間寝たり。30時間以上ずっと起きていたり。起きていたところで何も進んでいない。そして連休が終わる。こんな事を何回繰り返した？ 何年続ける気だ。死ぬまでか？
話にならん。 そもそもこういうのを書かない様にしようと考えたのはつい先日の話じゃないのかね。
ようやく頂いたパッチをあて。 解説してもらえればなるほどと思うけれど、基本的に手も足も出ない話だ。 メンテナを名乗るのが申し訳なくなるな。
他のパッケージも色々メンテ。
追記されたようだ。
今後は、バックポートパッケージについては、backports.orgの方にアップロードしていくことにし、試験的なパッケージの提供は取り止めることにしました。

It is a binary compatibility alternative to Apache module mod_fastcgi. mod_fcgid has a new process management strategy, which concentrates on reducing the number of fastcgi server, and kick out the corrupt fastcgi server as soon as possible.

PHP is NOT recommended to work with multithreaded Apache2(worker MPM and WinNT MPM, for example), because some PHP extensions( or 3rd party library they are using) are not guaranteed thread-safe. PHP running with FastCGI mode is a solution to this problem.
とか書いてある。前おかしくなった一因はこれかな。 と言ってもこのサーバは他でも問題が起きそうだから、やっぱり prefork でないと駄目そうだけど……
mod_svn_view provides a web-based view of a Subversion repository, similar to Chora, or viewcvs. What makes mod_svn_view different is it uses the Subversion libraries directly instead of executing the command line client, and thus has tremendous speed.
